Goodnight, blinking friend

Hooray

The village wanted a light that never sleeps, so the Keeper stacked a little tower of stones and taught it to blink.

  1. 21:50 The last stone, set just so.
  2. 22:05 A first blink. The Keeper says goodnight.
  3. 06:00 Still blinking at sunrise. Hooray.

INC-002the humming years

A hall of humming lanterns

Still having fun

More neighbours wanted a light of their own, so one tower grew into a whole hall of lanterns, and the Keeper keeps every one of them humming.

  1. 02:10 One lantern blushes in the dark.
  2. 02:14 A gentle pat, a softer song.
  3. 02:20 All humming again. The Keeper hums along.

Lanterns in the clouds

Still having fun

The tower became a hall, and the hall got too small. So the Keeper tied every lantern to a balloon and let them float up to a big fluffy cloud, where they hum happily and the whole sky blinks along.

  1. 08:00 Every lantern gets a balloon and a pep talk.
  2. 09:00 Up, up, up. Not a single one dropped.
  3. 12:00 All settled in the cloud. The old hall gets a broom.

Current status: humming along

Every lantern is lit, the Keeper is grinning, and the kettle is always on.

No villagers were harmed. Several cakes were.
